Our Mission
To provide homeless and disadvantaged veterans with transitional employment and job skills.
To provide disabled veterans with a self-paced rehabilitation site in a relaxing outdoor environment.
To provide the Craven County community with Organic produce through pre-orders and direct sells.
To provide exposure to agricultural equipment which will enhance the ability of the disabled veteran.

Volunteer Opportunities
VEBCOG is unique because we have many retired veterans in our volunteer program. We love having older gardener drop by to share their knowledge and experience. The partnership that we have with the youth in Craven County is gaining ground as well.
Volunteer Mission Statement: Have fun while you learn about healthy produce and the industry of agriculture.
Volunteer Goals:
- Maintain the garden site, beds and structures.
- Assist with the Farmers Market on the 1st and 3rd Saturday from March - November.
- Attend workshops to learn about planting, watering and harvesting produce.
- Help address community healthy eating through the production of quality fresh produce.
Volunteer Recruitment
